WHAT WE DO
Cultura is an enabler: entrepreneurial, inclusive, innovative; a deliverer. When we work collaboratively, the achievements are greater than ‘the sum of the partners’. We bring a respected 50-year legacy combined with expertise in the vanguard of our field; our credentials are what you can make with them. Cultura is run with the disciplines of a business, motivated by the public benefit objectives of a charity. We are not geo-centric, tied to any location or territory, but people-centric: we ‘are’ where we (and you) are making a difference, which could be in England, Scotland or across Europe. Benefits could be advice, mentoring or support to help give you impetus in something that’s a specific problem, opportunity or both. Or we could work things through with you – a project plan for a cultural heritage site, collection and/or activity, its financing and resourcing, a review of governance to create capacity, or all of the above; you might need us as a partner. What we do is what you need us to do.

LEARN WITH US
We are keen to work with schools and training organisations to provide curriculum and field activities and enrichment for children, young people and adult groups. At Camp Farm we are developing therapeutic care farming and horticulture as well as offering volunteer experience working on landscape and habitat projects. At Gayle Mill we are working with volunteers and community groups to maximise the use of the building, to steward the site, establish the hay meadow and repair drystone walls.
WORK WITH US
We are always open to ideas for new projects and are actively seeking to expand our Board of Trustees. We employ enthusiastic animateurs to bring our sites to life. If you are passionate about people and heritage project management or governance and have time and expertise to offer please do get in touch.

HOW TO DONATE
With the invaluable help of grants, we are able to carry out vital conservation work on the historic sites in our care, and to run volunteering, education and events programmes that enable people to get involved in our projects and work.
Individual donations, whether one-off for a particular project, or regular donations towards our core work, are another way of helping to ensure we can continue the legacy of the last 50 years of the Trust.
You can donate securely through our Cafdonate page:
